I am a New York State licensed clinical psychologist and maternal mental health specialist who helps high-functioning mothers understand why modern life feels so overwhelming—and how to reclaim emotional capacity without guilt. My work focuses on maternal overload, boundary erosion, invisible labor, and the psychological toll of constant availability. I translate clinical insight into practical tools to help my patients feel calmer, clearer, and more like themselves again.
My practice focuses on individual therapy for adolescents and adults with a subspecialty in women’s issues, including perinatal mood and anxiety. I believe that successful therapy is largely based in the quality of the patient-therapist relationship, and I employ a warm and active approach in order to foster a collaborative environment for my patients to reach their therapeutic goals.
I have a BA in English Literature from Columbia University’s Barnard College, and received my doctorate (PsyD) in psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. I completed my APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in clinical child, adolescent, and adult psychology at NYC Health & Hospitals Lincoln Medical Center, where I trained in psychodynamic treatment, as well as Cognitive Based Therapy (CBT), Family Based Therapy (FBT), and supervised psychology trainees.
After completing my predoctoral training, I pursued additional postdoctoral training at two fellowship sites. I completed a one-and-a-half-year long postdoctoral fellowship at the William Alanson White Institute, where I trained intensively on the interplay of intrapsychic and interpersonal dynamics. I also completed postdoctoral work at the UWS Therapy Group, where I worked with young adults (20s and 30s) in the context of identity development and life changes. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked in a variety of clinical settings including NYC private schools, interdisciplinary group practices, community based mental health clinics, outpatient hospital settings, and inpatient hospitals.
